Toddler Life

If My Toddler Ruled The World

Toddlers are strange little humans with strange little habits. They find awe and excitement in the strangest of things and throw paddies at the tiniest little issues.

Would the world be a safer place, run by someone who likes to do the complete opposite of what they are told? Ohhhh look at that big red button labelled ‘nukes’. Wait, I’m not allowed to touch it? Even better!

I’d say probably not.

It would, however, be a happier place with far less stress and much more playtime!

Here’s what would change if my toddler ruled the world:

♛Free fruit pouches for everyone – all day, every day!

♛Stacking cups in every room of every building

♛Biannual Organix Goodies Mini Oaty Bites holidays

♛Choo Choos (trains) and Round-and-Rounds (buses, duh!) would be the main source of transport

♛Background music would be the sound of someone having a wee

♛Baked beans on demand

♛Every gear, lever and button would make a goofy noise

♛Last but not least, this would be the anthem of the entire world:

How would your toddler change the world?

You Baby Me Mummy

  1. Haha, I had a good laugh! I have a delayed 7 year old who often behaves like a toddler (especially when distressed or when things don’t go according to his liking) and I can so relate to your points. Some of those would actually make the world a better place though! 🙂

  2. When my daughter was a toddler she used to declare outrageous things out of nowhere. “I wish there was no such thing as wood!” “Send her to a place where they don’t allow fingers!” “Tell them they have to drive with their eyes closed!” So if she’d ruled the world as a toddler, it would’ve been a rather bizarre place to live.

    1. Aha! That’s brilliant! My toddler is only 1.5 so not yet stringing sentences together. Can’t wait to hear what he comes out with though 😀

  3. My eldest would love it if your toddler ruled the world! Especially with all of the stacking cups and baked beans! Thanks so much for sharing with #Blogstravaganza, hope to see you again next week xx
